Just above Banias river is a beautifull castle called Nimrod's fortress. It was build early 13th century by an arab sultan and is still in a pretty good shape. Bad thing with fryday afternoons here the site was closed so I had to jump the barriers. In the end I was pretty happy to visit the site alone. The scenary from there is absolutely gorgeous (Mont Hermon just behind on this picture).
