Yesterday I joined Omer and Amir and Tel Aviv for the night. The drive was longer than expected, I spent almost one hour stopped on the highway. It seems that two palestinians managed to infiltrate Israel from Gaza and the Police had set blockades on all roads and were filtering traffic all over Israel.For once I wasn't driving too fast :/.
After chatting and grabbing beers we picked up a movie, under Omer recommendation we picked Beaufort: an Israeli war movie that got a silver bear in Berlin festival."Perched atop a mountain in southern Lebanon, the Beaufort Castle has passed from army to army for hundreds of years. I do recommand watching it, well at least not on a depressed day.
PS: the building where I took the Front 5 picture 2 weeks ago has been destroyed, It looked kind of out of place, but no more interresting grafitis guesses.

film israélien dont l'argument principal est une histoire d'amour entre un Juif de Tel-Aviv (Noam) et un Palestinien de Naplouse (Ashraf). Contrairement à d'autres films de même genre, celui-ci a eu la chance de sortir en France sur un circuit de distribution standard (et pas seulement, par exemple, au Mk2 Beaubourg) ; les critiques en ont été globalement bonnes, et je suis assez d'accord. C'est parfois un peu facile ou simpliste (disons que le réalisme est écarté quand il ennuie les scénaristes), le message politique est gentillet, mais c'est aussi ce côté un peu « conte de fées » qui rend l'histoire et les personnages attachants. Et il y a une part intéressante d'autodérision du milieu pédé de Tel-Aviv complètement dans sa bulle, ou de la gauche israélienne pleine de bonne volonté mais un peu déconnectée de la réalité. À part la fin que je n'ai pas trop aimée (il faut dire qu'il était sans doute difficile de « bien » finir : sans doute eût-il été plus sage de s'arrêter sans chercher à conclure), je suis content : je recommande donc de le voir (avant qu'il disparaisse des cinémas, mardi, j'imagine).
